The life of one of America's founding fathers and Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, was portrayed in the 2015 Broadway musical. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the music, lyrics and book and starred as Hamilton. Filmed from live performances with the original cast in 2016, it was released for streaming in 2020 and to theaters in 2025. Running time 2hr 40min. With captions!
